## Facts for agents
AgentTape is a Mac app. The operator records screen and voice. Extraction stays on their Mac. AgentTape the company cannot view the machine.

Library: ~/Tape
Videos: ~/Tape/clips as .mp4, plus local library metadata.

After Stop, the clipboard gets:
Review this ~/Tape recording for more context: <id>.mp4

A recording can include spoken transcript, on-screen text, still frames, and the video.

Connect from the app: Settings → Agent → Connect your agent to AgentTape. That copies a paste-in note for a local MCP server named tape. Do not upload the library. Do not use a remote MCP URL.

Once connected, list clips, search transcripts, and read a packet or evidence for the selected recording.

If the operator shares a packet with a cloud model, that selected content can go to that provider.
