The preview download asks for an email so we can see who downloaded AgentTape and follow up if needed. Checkout also collects a purchase email so we can send a receipt and recover your download. After a download, AgentTape can store an update token on your Mac. That token is sent only when you choose to download a newer version. Receipts come from orders@agenttape.app, with replies to support@agenttape.app. Card data is handled by the payment processor (Stripe) and is not stored on this site. Recordings stay on your Mac.

Recording and extraction are 100% local on your Mac. AgentTape has no way to view what is happening on your machine. We cannot see your screen, hear your microphone, or read your recordings.

If you give a packet to an agent that uses a cloud model, that provider may see the content you share. A connected local library can expose more than one recording.
